Mad Gabs
community
Welcome to the official community page of our site! We often receive praise for what a great job we are doing and while we appreciate the rave reviews, it's important to us to share the glory with those who contribute to our success. Mad Gabs is a 14 year journey that began by chance and it thrives because of all the folks who believe in us and help us live by our missions and values. We work with many wonderful businesses and nonprofits; here is a sampling of our extended family.

We met Eric and his ultra-hip family just after they moved to Maine from Brooklyn, NY. Clicking instantly, we have since worked with Eric on label layouts, catalog design, signage and other design projects. Eric's talent, humor and love of politics make each meeting a real experience and each product launch a wonderful collaborative effort.

Susan Russell

We met Susan in 2004 when we were redesigning our packaging from elephants and cartoons to the whimsical, artistic look most of our products now carry. Susan's talent with brush, color and lines has helped us capture the spirit of Mad Gabs in a truly unique and beautiful way! Keep an eye out for our latest collaboration with Susan...due in January 2006.

Working with developmentally challenged adults, Community Partners has been bringing a team of workers (and a job coach) to Mad Gabs since 1998. Together with our in-house production crew they complete the finishing stage of production: labeling, shrink wrapping, and assembling gift sets. The work they do is valuable and essential to getting our products out the door! We are proud to provide paid work for these very capable and fun-loving folks.

Ethos Marketing We went to Ethos in December of 2003 after it was clear that folks loved our products and our playful approach, but our message was unclear. Who is Mad Gabs? Who are our customers? Why? What are we trying to say with our packaging? We worked with a handful of people from Ethos to not only find answers to these questions, but to find our way to a new look. We re-launched the Mad Gab's brand in August of 2004 and it has been overwhelmingly received!
