Absolutely. Our Moose Smooch line was designed with kids in mind—fun flavors, gentle formulas, and packaging they’ll love. No petroleum, parabens, or artificial flavors—just lip-smacking goodness. Our products are great for sensitive skin and kids from 1-101. As with any product, there are exceptions, and some folks are so sensitive even a pure and simple product will irritate—stop using if that’s you.

Yes! We never test on animals. Our balms are tested only on happy humans with dry lips (and they keep coming back for more).

Incubating Innovators is our teen entrepreneurship program in Maine, where students launch businesses and sell at farmer’s markets. Yes! Our Body Balms are little miracle workers for skin head to toe—basically anywhere you need extra love!

Good news: you don’t need to. Lip balm addiction is a controversial topic and is often tied to products with drying ingredients like menthol or petroleum. Mad Gab’s balms seriously nourish lips, and if you stay hydrated and protect them from the sun, you should have happy, soft and
moose-turized lips!

It depends on a lot of things—weather, eating, drinking, kissing, even sleeping! Our balms are made to sink in and keep lips soft, not sit on top like wax. Reapply as needed, but most folks find they last a good stretch.

• Kids & Teens: Moose Smooch flavors like Blueberry, Raspberry, and
  Vanilla. Seasonal fun like Pumpkin Spice, Hot Cocoa, and Sugar Cookie are always a hit, too. (Big kids  love Moose Smooch too 😊)
• Sensitive Lips: Our Unscented Moose Smooch & Cracked Hands balm are
  truly unscented (no hidden scent, no funny aftertaste) and perfect for
  delicate skin.
• Adults: MG Signature for an elegant vibe with a formula we enrich with shea butter and cocoa butter for maximum creamy hydration.

Most formulas are gluten-free. Our balms do contain beeswax, so they’re not vegan—but they are vegetarian and always cruelty-free. Check your packaging for details.

We’ve been crafting organic lip balms since 1991—long before “clean beauty” was trendy. Gab was looking for a natural lip balm that wasn’t greasy or waxy, but couldn’t find one! She got busy in her mom’s kitchen with beeswax from a neighbor, and Mad Gab’s was born.
